During our stay at Expo Sciences Europe Budapest Petya (the friend of mine that helped me with the encyclopedia) and I received an invitation to participate in a contest called Innovating Minds (http://www.innovatingminds.eu/) in the Czech Republic. We also took part in this contest with the Open Mathematical Encyclopedia. From nearly 60 projects from 12 countries our project is among the three nominated ones (you can check the website).

I will list the programs and the WEB sites I’ve created below. If you encounter a web page in Bulgarian, you can use http://translate.google.com/ to translate it in English.

Some of my applications and web sites I’m proud with:

Tuk - http://tuk.martinmarinov.info/
An augmented reality application for Android.

Open Mathematical Encyclopedia - http://matematika.martinmarinov.info/
It contains mathematical topics from the 7th to the 12th grade. It has user rank hierarchy, chat and a system for personal messages. Every user can post a new topic but it will become visible in the search engine after a moderator or administrator has approved it trough the admin panel. It’s built using MySQL and PHP. I developed the code and helped my colleague Petya to write the mathematical topics. We participated with this project in several national and international expos.

Free lunch -
http://am.martinmarinov.info/
(website is closed) A website in Bulgarian. It's like a game. Every registered user has to ask people to come and register in the website. Evry friend that signes up on the site brings the user a kilo. More friends you invite, more kilos you will gain. There's a TOP 100 chart of the "fattest" users of the site.

GSM.martinmarinov.info -
http://gsm.martinmarinov.info/
A web site for sending free of charge SMS messages and downloading polyphonic ringtones that works both from regular computer WEB browser and from a mobile phone's WAP browser.

Christmas Greeting Cards -
http://koleda.martinmarinov.info/
A Bulgarian language website for sending christmas greetings via the e-mail to friends and relatives.

Download BG is a website of a Bulgarian magazine for computers. Most of my applications are published in the website and some of them in the magazine. Here is a list of all of my application (except those discussed in the previous field) along with a download statistics till 30 December 2008. You can use http://translate.google.com/ to translate those pages in English. Unfortunatelly Download BG now requires a registration (which is not free of charge) to download the programs. When I uploaded my programmes it was free. From now on I will publish them on a free website. Nevertheless if you want to try a program, please contact me and I'll be glad to send it to you.

Skypestroenie – https://extras.skype.com/1689/view (website: http://skype.martinmarinov.info/English)
It makes the mood text of Skype looks nice. It can add colors and effects to it. It’s a basically a RTF to HTML converter with a lot of nice options.

Skype Love (Love for Skype Software) - https://extras.skype.com/1105/view (website: http://love.martinmarinov.info/English.htm)
One can vote for his/her friends in the Skype contact list and then see how many people have voted for him/her. This application combines PHP, MySQL and programming because the score enquiries are processed by a script on a server.

Math Graphics (Download: http://martinmarinov.info/applications/MathGraphics.zip) – an expression grapher. It can analyze the graphics of functions; finds common points and intersection points. You can use variables in the expression in order to create an animated effect. You can save those animations as gif images. This application hasn’t been published yet because I’ll use it for a science conference in 2009. A friend of mine, Petya, participated in the development of the program by creating the user interface.

Test conductor (English version: http://martinmarinov.info/applications/TestConductor.zip) (published: http://www.download.bg/index.php?cls=program&mtd=view&id=487316) Teachers can conduct tests using this application. The archive contains two programs – a server and a client. The server runs on the teacher’s computer and the client must be started on the PC of every student. All PCs must be connected via LAN. The teacher can type in questions and answer and the application will distribute them automatically to the students. The teacher can also track the progress of the students in real time via the server. After a student submits the test, the teacher immediately receives his/her score and a detailed skill report. The student will see his/her mark upon finishing the test. After the teacher has ended the test officially, all students will be able to see detailed skill report. Although I officially published the program few weeks ago, several teachers contacted me to tell me that they have successfully conducted tests.

Interference v1 – creates an interference pattern from several wave sources http://www.download.bg/index.php?cls=program&mtd=view&id=487314

Student curriculum – It’s an organizer that students can use to write their weekly school curriculum. They can also add test dates and the application will inform them when the date comes http://www.download.bg/index.php?cls=program&mtd=view&id=487332

Marto Player (826 downloads, published in the magazine 11/2006) – my first public application. It’s a MP3 player with a playlist http://www.download.bg/index.php?cls=program&mtd=view&id=411238

http://www.download.bg/index.php?cls=program&mtd=view&id=411252

MartoSMS (2361 downloads) – a program for sending free text messages. It communicates with a PHP script on a server and sends a formatted e-mail message to the mobile operator’s E-MAIL TO SMS centre. The usage was so high that it overloaded the server and I had to shut it down. The application is currently not functional.
