About me
My name is Martin Tsvetomirov Marinov. I was born in Vratsa, Bulgaria and grew up here. I have been interested in sciences (mathematics, informatics and physics) since my childhood. I have participated in a lot of mathematics and informatics contests. I attended several science conferences, in which I participated as a part of a team. After the national contest "Young Talents", our project "Open Mathematical Encyclopedia" was selected to be one of the two projects to represent Bulgaria at the Expo Sciences Europe '08, Budapest, Hungary. We presented the English version of the web site. You can find a link to visit it in the "Projects" category. We also took part in the National Research Summer School of Informatics as a reward from a contest, organized by the Bulgarian High School Students Institute.
Things I can do :)
I first started programming when I was 12 years old. Back then I bought a book about Java Script. Later in school I studied Pascal. Too bad for me that I didn't learned C++ back then, but now I'm trying to catch up. Later I started working with Delphi. All of the PC applications I have developed that are in the "Projects" category have been created using this language. Meanwhile I learned PHP and MySQL and created several web sites (you can find them in the "Projects" category, too).
Things I adore to do
Some people usually confuse me with those type of people who sit in front of their PC screens during the whole day. The truth is that I love nature. I usually hike in the mountains during the weekends and the holidays. Sometimes I go to the pool to swim. When I'm at home and all of my friends are busy, I usually do write programs. I adore watching science movies and (of course) my favorite TV channel is Discovery. If you want to contact me and have a chat, please, by my guest. You can find out how to do it in the "Contact" category.
